Our Qualifications

Bob de Jongh started his financial services career in 1972 as an insurance agent for The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. Two years later he became a Registered Representative with Hornor, Townsend & Kent, Inc.(HTK), a wholly owned subsidiary of Penn Mutual.  In 1979 he moved his business to Cheshire, CT and in 1993 he founded NEi Financial, LLC specializing in Wealth Accumulation, Retirement Income Distribution and Business Continuation Planning.  He is an Investment Advisor Representative of HTK and holds insurance and securities licenses in CT, FL, KY, MA, MI, NC, NH, NJ, NY, and SC.

Bob is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), and the Financial Planning Association (FPA), as well as a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT).  Mr. de Jongh is a well-known and respected speaker in the New Haven County, Connecticut area on a wide range of financial topics. He also conducts a series of workshops throughout the year which are designed to help business owners and individuals understand the financial planning* process and make better financial decisions. 

Bob is the Vice President for the Executive Board of Penn Mutual's Producer Advisory Council and the chairman of their Practice Management Committee. He is an active member of the Cheshire Chamber of Commerce as well as a past President.  He is also an active member of the Meriden Chamber of Commerce.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of Family Services of Greater Waterbury and serves on their Finance and Development Commmittees.  Bob has been a member of the Cheshire Inlands and Wetlands Commission for over 25 years and currently serves as its Chairman.  He also the liasion to the Cheshire Economic Development Council.  In addition he is a Lay Leader in his local church and a member of a number of committees..

Nathan Hall is our newest member.  He is a licensed life insurance advisor who comes to us from Utah with 5 years of outstanding experience with New York Like.  Over the past 5 years he has qualified for thier Executive Council and has earned the National Quality Award from NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisor) the last 4 years.  Nate is a graduate of Brigham Young University (BYU) and earned Athletic Academic Excellence Awards in 2004 and 2005.  His experience in working with young professionals and business owners give him a unique understanding of the challenges and needs they face.  

Holly Calandra, our Director of Operations, began her career in 1997 with Hartford Life Insurance Company as a Senior Service Specialist.  She received her Series 6 FINRA license during that time and brings to our firm a unique ability to service the needs of our clients.

Christine Paulus, our Administrative Assistant, began her careeer in 1995 as a Senior Service Rep for The Frankllin Mint.  From there she moved to Harford Life as an annuity specialist.  In 2005 she started her own business where she developed the skills needed to better understand the complex decisions our business clients make every day.
